Turn off the heater and throw open the windows. Spring has arrived and it's breeze is ready to sweep out all the winter gloom and (hopefully!) germs.
Jump up and down inside when you realize the husband has to train at work today (meaning you get a normal day AND the car that you share - hooray!)
Keep tv off limits and enjoy giggling girls while you wash dishes in the kitchen
Choose to have a happy attitude about the broken dishwasher and embrace the time to stare out your kitchen window
Put two sleepy girls down for naps and enjoy the solitude
Tip Toe to the kitchen to prepare yummy lunch (turkey tacos from last night's dinner - perfectly small broken up turkey grounds because you might have taken out some frustration on it last night)
Enjoy your lunch followed by one (or three) brownies
Watch just enough Little House on the Prairie to remember why it used to be your absolute favorite before turning on the computer and working on the story that won't leave your mind
Welcome two well napped ladies to your table for lunch and enjoy their sweet smiles
Call a friend for park fun, get bummed she can't go, but enjoy hearing her voice anyway
Set off for park...get distracted by who-knows-what on your way and drive around aimlessly for an hour
Find your dream house that is for sale in the perfect spot while driving around aimlessly
Enjoy knowing that, while you can't buy the house now, it exists and so will the perfect one in God's perfect time
Make a Sonic run for Happy Hour - less than $4.00 for two yummy drinks and tater tots to share - have a fun time letting Little Miss (FB's new name!) choose between pink (cherry - she doesn't know red yet) and blue (blue coconut) juice (slushy) and laugh at how much she changes her mind
Finally head to the park, pull into the same spot and back out three times - hit the curb/run over the sidewalk every time
Receive text from husband that work is over early and we can head over to pick him up
Be grateful you haven't even had a chance to turn off the car yet and that his work is only minutes away
Promise Little Miss that you will be right back to play once you pick up Daddy
Pick up handsome, tired husband and drag him to the park
Set Fo in the shade with Daddy and take off for an adventure with Little Miss
Take the wild, tall slide with Little Miss to show her it's fun
Nonchalantly check bottom once on your feet again - not too dirty
Be a little proud that your Mama-Of-Two bottom fit that slide!
Have a total blast with family for an hour
Head for home and write post while chicken and potatoes are sizzling away on the grill
How do you enjoy a beautiful spring Day?

Haha! Love the part about you & the slide! Too funny!
We spent our beautiful spring day outside, too. Planted more strawberries, went for a walk, puttered around the yard, and soaked up the sunshine. Had a happy and tired boy at the end of the day!
I love it! You had an amazing day. I'm going to pray for one of those days (and the heart to go with it) tomorrow.
