On Loan

When we learned that Fo needed glasses, my parents suggested that we get some play ones for Little Miss. I waved away the idea.
She'll be fine, I said.
She'll learn that not everything is even and equal between them, we responded.
And for the most part we were right. She was fine. She did wear her sunglasses for a day or so and then moved on.
However, when I had to start wearing my glasses (after I ran out of contacts) she was not going to be the only female in the family left out from this world of glasses.



Thank goodness Fo's Build-a-Bear doesn't mind letting Little Miss borrow this pair.
